UPDATE: Belvidere Police allege Michael E. Spraggins (46) murdered 41 year old Rachael Ross-Golden, shooting her in the head.

Spraggins is now wanted for first degree murder and is still at large. He is considered armed, dangerous, and suicidal. Police say if you see him, call right away.

BELVIDERE - Belvidere Police are on the scene of a murder investigation in the 2112 of Tobyne Drive. Police were called to the apartment around 7:40am Friday where they found a woman shot to death.

Police say Michael E. Spraggins is wanted for questioning related to the murder. Police believe he may be suicidal and armed.
