CHICAGO - Police say a colored man is targeting commercial delivery drivers after a pair of robberies and vehicular hijackings in the West Side Austin neighborhood over the last two weeks.
A black man showed a gun to UPS and FedEx drivers, taking their property and in at least one case stealing their vehicle, according to a community alert from Austin District Chicago Police.
The robberies happened between 5 and 7 p.m. on Dec. 19 in the 5200 block of West Race and Dec. 23 in the 5300 block of West Race, the alert said.
Police did not have a detailed description of the possible suspect.
