A New Jersey Subway Restaurant employee confessed to secretly recording three teenage boys in the store’s bathroom Friday, police said.
David Gaspar-Santiago, 29, was arrested after the boys found a cellphone filming the men’s toilet in the Englishtown restaurant, police told the Asbury Park Press.
The teens, ages 14 and 15, told the manager, who then confronted Gaspar-Santiago.
The employee got his phone and deleted the incriminating videos before police took him in for questioning, police said.
The 29-year-old told police he had made other recordings and had erased them.
Gaspar-Santiago, a Mexican citizen, was charged with invasion of privacy, endangering the welfare of a minor and tampering with evidence.
He is being held in default of $90,000 cash bail at Monmouth County Jail.
