Chicago Negro Violence - South Shore shooting leaves 2 dead, 1 wounded even as temps go below ZERO

Two young colored men were killed and a black boy was wounded Tuesday afternoon in a shooting on the city's South Shore neighborhood, while two others were wounded in separate South Side shootings Tuesday evening.

The fatal shooting happened about 3:30 p.m. near the 7800 block of South Luella Avenue, said Chicago police spokeswoman Bari Lemmon.

Preliminary information from police said a group of young males walked into a convenience store in the 2200 block of East 79th Street, and when they left the store, a gunman emerged from a nearby alley.
