Brian Dorian - Cop falsely accused in 'honeybee' murder case settles suit with Will County - This guy must of had some really bad attorney(s), he should have received 10 times this amount!

A Lynwood police officer who spent six days in jail on murder charges that were later dropped settled a lawsuit against the Will County sheriff's office and the investigators who put him in jail

Attorneys for Will County and Brian Dorian this week reached a settlement agreement. Under the agreement, sheriff's investigators or the department do not admit wrongdoing but the county is paying Dorian $126,500.

"I think Brian is very happy that this very unfortunate chapter in his life is over," said Dorian's attorney, Gregory Kulis. "He is proud to be a law enforcement officer and he just wants to go on with his life."
