I whole heartily agree that Ernie Banks was a great ball payer and gentleman... But for Christ sakes, the guy was 83 years old and hasn't done anything for mankind or society for DECADES.....
Once again because somebody is BLACK let's blow them up larger than life....
He PLAYED BASEBALL! He didn't find a cure to any diseases nor did he bring world peace....
And the SUCK ASS team he played for, the Chicago Cubs, haven't won a World Series in over a CENTURY!
Let's thank the Lord he had 83 years on this earth and move on please!
