Negro Robber Using Stun Gun on White Chicago CTA train passengers to rob them of their cell phones

Police have released video surveillance photos of a colored robbery suspect who threatened a white woman with a stun gun to rob her of a cell phone last week on a South Loop CTA platform.

Police said about 2:38 p.m. on Friday, Jan, 23, the victim was transferring from the Red Line to the Green Line at the Roosevelt stop at 1167 S. State St. when the suspect displayed the “Taser” and demanded her phone.

The woman, “fearful for her safety,” gave him the phone and he ran away, an alert from police said.

The suspect is described as a black male 20-30, 5-foot-7 to 6-foot and 140-175 pounds with a medium complexion, according to police.
