Attorney Karin Connelly is representing numerous cook county sheriff employees in lawsuits against the county for alleged on the job injures. More cases keep popping up that were not disclosed in first FOIA request. What is the sheriff's office hiding amid new allegations that Kevin Connelly is still calling the shots in the deputy division. How many clients in the sheriff's office does Karin Connelly represent?
Andy Shaw KILLED the Chicago Better Government Association's (BGA) story about a major WORKMEN'S COMP Scheme in Sheriff Tom Dart's Cook County Sheriff organization?
Original Post
Kevin Connelly was allegedly manipulating evictions for years before Dart promoted him from Chief of Civil to his current salary of $114,230.00 as First Chief Deputy Sheriff. When Co-Workers put in an Internal Affairs about the eviction rigging it was swept under the rug and at least one supervisor was targeted by Connelly. Connelly is still making employment decisions for many of the clients his sister represents. Huge Conflict of interest at best!
Dart on Workers Comp Fraud in his office.
"Sheriff Tom Dart said he wants to hire a private law firm to speed up the review of workers compensation claims and weed out fraudulent cases. He said few prosecutors are assigned to look into the claims. "While I understand the difficulties of managing the multitude of workers compensation claims filed by county employees, it is clear the system is failing and must be overhauled," Dart said. Dart estimated that the sheriff’s office pays out about $8 million a year in compensation claims".
New post.
Indications are Karin Connelly represents more deputies than the new discloser below. One pending investigation we are looking into is a deputy represented by Connelly who allegedly took part in extra roles on a hit Chicago television show along with numerous other side jobs WHILE ON DISABILITY. We recently put in a FOIA request to that television show. Stay tuned...
