Negro Wildebeest Jakeyra Monique Augustus charged with 9 felonies including ethnic intimidation in Ann Arbor-area break-in spree that targeted Asian and Indian residents in Michigan and New Jersey

Jakeyra Monique Augustus, Johnisha Williams, 19, Juan Olaya, 34, and Rodney Granger, 19, Chaka Castro, 39, and Octavius Scott, 22, were arrested

One member of the crew of armed burglars that swept through the Ann Arbor-area over Thanksgiving has been extradited to Michigan and charged with nine felonies, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, which released more information about the case Wednesday afternoon.  

Jakeyra Monique Augustus, of La Marque, Texas, was charged with counts of home invasion, unlawful imprisonment and ethnic intimidation on Tuesday, court records show.

Augustus, 21, was part of a break-in crew that targeted Asian and Indian residents in Michigan and New Jersey before being arrested in Texas, where they are also charged with breaking into houses.
